Our young preschool classroom provides care for children ages 3 to 4 years old.

How We Teach

Our young preschool classroom is an environment that encourages your child to explore learning materials and interact with others. Our teachers use the Plan/Do/Review method to act as partners to support your child as they gain knowledge through natural play and interactions within the environment.

Developmental Areas

Your young preschooler will build their language skills through fun and stimulating experiences such as read-alouds and interactive games. Our teachers use story time to feed your child’s curiosity about the world around them.

Our teachers incorporate games daily to stretch your young preschoolers mind and practice their decision making skills. We work together with your child to provide them with many opportunities to work on problem solving and self regulation skills that they will use for a lifetime.

Our young preschool classroom promotes independence to give your child the confidence to do tasks on their own. Our teachers will be there to help guide your young preschooler as they explore how to interact with others and how to express their feelings in a productive way.

At this busy age, we believe it is important that lots of movement is incorporated into your young preschooler’s day. We emphasize the importance of health and wellness in our daily routine and are fortunate to have access to the KIC facility to give your young preschooler the freedom to run, dance, and play even when the weather isn’t cooperating.

Your young preschooler will be introduced to writing numbers and letters, begin to understand spatial relationships and practice their problem solving skills daily. Our teachers work hard to make learning a fun experience that your child will look forward to for years to come.

Our classroom’s dramatic play center is stocked with dress up items to encourage your young preschooler to express themselves creatively. Our teachers will partner with your child and inspire them to use their imagination as they explore our assortment of art materials.
